The wine of the night before helped to sleep long today. At least with the three of us. I was once again to wake up early so I went at 6 Clock House Road to the first morning coffee to take. The owners sat in front of the TV already stretched to the weather watch, which was indeed shot in Tilmouth today at 4:00 clock. I got my coffee, still and began to write the blog, which I did not write more at night for obvious reasons.
Around 7.30 clock woke the others and then slowly we went again to the swimming pool at a morning cooling. Then we ate some little acknowledged in the shadow of the camper together, and drove off. The owner told us on the eve of yet that we could go to the salt lakes. We would then simply pick up the keys to the gate with him.
This we now did, and drove out the 25 miles to the lakes. Helene and I went a little wide, so that we are suddenly landed in the wilderness. So we turned around and our fellow passengers were waiting with a smile on us. So we went back to the shore. Unfortunately it was not many birds, such as those found elsewhere here, but the deposited salt could be seen clearly.
The next goal was Alice Springs. Good three hours later we were there and parked at the edge of the center. We walked along the shopping street. want to sit on the green land Aborigines sell their artwork. In the Seitensträsschen it has welcoming coffee bars. The city is very clean, and alcohol is here again in public places and on the street is prohibited by buses.
A little later we sat in a cozy restaurant in a courtyard, which was overgrown with vines. Actually, should now go our separate ways, there Aurélie Romain and have little time available, to get back to Darwin. We decided to spend the night in Alice Springs, and they chose to proceed. Since we are going but also to Uluru, we arranged to meet in the parking lot in front of the Ayers Rock tomorrow evening at 18.00 clock.
We said goodbye and Helene and I were in a side street a coffee, which had indeed closed but the network was available. Another couple walked by with a laptop and were happy just using this connection to Europe. After emails and blogs we had walked close to the sunset back to the parked camper. It was still the only car in the parking lot. Strangely, the evening is always in the villages is not much, but as though there would be most comfortable.
Then we made our way to the campsite, took the opportunity to get our Outbackwäsche fresh again and enjoyed the few flies. Then we enjoyed the evening and the luxury we have learned again re-evaluate.
