Broome

P1000846 It comes to us slowly so that Australia wants us to wake each morning with another exotic animal. Today it was, we, we found later, a cicada, which tore us from sleep at 5:50. In Italy I heard such a noise-making animals already. But here the cicada exceeded the lengths to decibels. I thought I heard that is an alarm and went looking for them. P1000847 But I could not locate it at first. The noise I would describe as an electrical continuing Schrillton loud and I would never start to come on it that it could be an insect. Only because of the volume.

After we had loaded everything, we said goodbye to the Australian neighbors and drove back the 23-kilometer dirt road on the highway.

P1000848 Along the way we have already seen in the vicinity of Broome huge pastures with cattle and buffalo in it. In Broome we first went to the tourist center, there was initially little town. There was but as a tourist dish that we grabbed a map and look at the campsites were. We were successful outside of Broome, at Cable Beach. Palm Groove with the swimming pool led us to us to grab a book and spend the hot midday hours by the pool. Unlike the last few days we had already arrived today at 11.00 clock.

P1000853 About five clock we went to Chinatown as this, although situated on the outskirts of Broome, is known as a center. We strolled through the two roads and it was almost everything is closed. So we went to a restaurant and ordered a Vegipizza. Shortly after we had placed the order, we were startled by a deafening noise. Ca .. A Boeing 100 feet above us was on landing approach. The road to the restaurant was right in the no-fly and you could even see the placement of the machine.

After the fine meal and the serenade of a local resident on his guitar, we went to the legendary open-air cinema. Old Dogs ran straight and we wanted to not miss this experience. For, as we heard already climbed during the whole movie, the screen started along geckos and bats from the trees.

Then we drove back to our table and two chairs, which were waiting for us at the campsite.
