By motorcycle and camping round the island
In the summer we wanted to go to Norway. However, as all campers were fully booked, we decided at short notice on a motorcycle to drive to Corsica.
First it was said to attach meaningful structures luggage on the bike. For this I chose the Turatec aluminum case. These are very practical, waterproof, and rapidly-anmontiert and universal. Since it my Yamaha XT 600 is no bracket to measure, a skilled metal worker had to work with me. In a "longer" day we had this device together. 
After I gesprayed with black paint had, we could start packing. We went up to the maximum load limit for the XT. So we did not know if the bike is perhaps too vague for such a long journey. If that were the case, we had pitched our tents already in Ticino.
The handling was not a problem so we could pass and ride over Ticino Locarno, Verbania up to Savona. There we booked a passage on the Corsica Ferries.
What is to say, it was hot - very hot. We thought, as temperatures in Switzerland were also at record levels, we would certainly endure the heat better. Yes, it may be mistaken.
