Flight and holiday relaxation
Shortly after Christmas, on the morning of the 26th clock by 4 December 2006 drove, Christa, Helen, Mark and I Kloten airport. We flew via Madrid to Lanzarote, which has later proved to be disadvantageous. The main luggage consisted of four backpacks, which was packed in three more with a paraglider. Around noon, we met in Lanzarote, including three of our backpacks. The fourth backpack, Christa paraglider did not appear. After an hour's run from switch to switch (no one seemed to be responsible), you promised finally the backpack on the following day to the Apartment "Oasis" to deliver, because he was still in Madrid. So we drove to our accommodation and car hire with two after "Puerto del Carmen." 
That same evening, Marco and I could not collect the first flight experience above "doer" in "La Asomada". The wind and the atmosphere matched by outstanding evening of our arrival. Christa and Helene took photo and video shoot for this evening. The luggage was then not yet appeared on the second day. So also not on 3 Day. On 4 Christa days it took into their own hands and went (quite understandably) was applied at the airport. After a long discussion and the attempted consolation by "Spanair" - leaders for tomorrow, they made it clear to Christa that they do not go away until the paraglider arrived here. The next flight was already half an hour ... and behold, suddenly the wires were hot and promptly had two hours later the screen there. At last!

On two days it had too much wind and then we take the opportunity to explore the island. The lava and Helen reminded me strongly of Iceland , since it was volcanic in nature. Only here, of course, the temperature was 24 ° C enjoyable. The areas determined in each flight, the wind in Lanzarote. We had most of the week winds from O - NO. So our flying sites in addition mentions "Playa Quemada" and "Mala". Christa flew in addition the small cliff at Arrieta.
The culinary evening tours offered in many restaurants, then fine meal. Also, we spent New Year's Eve in Lanzarote, where it seemed to us more than we are at a carnival. On the beach there was this New Year's Eve still an impressive fireworks display. On 2 January 2007, we recovered well then returned back to Switzerland, where we expected cold and rainy weather.
